    Agreed.

    And the argument that kids need to know how to use a computer, etc. is bunk, too. We didn’t learn when we were in elementary school, and we managed just fine. The technology is easy. It’s thinking that’s hard.

      Thank you! I talked to Aric (hubby) about all this. He said, “What about typing papers?” I said, “Okay, sure, but they don’t really need to do that until high school, really.” If I had a lot of money, I’d start my own school that was a tech-free zone. I have all sorts of dreams of doing just that.
