Clearly those students have an amazing Shakespeare professor! You made the Henriad exciting–who else can do that?! Are you going to see any Shakespeare plays while you’re abroad?

Yes! We’ll be seeing three plays — Macbeth, Hamlet, and one non-Shakespeare: Duchess of Malfi by John Webster (a Shakespeare contemporary). I was hoping to see Nina Raine’s play, Consent, again, but its West End opening isn’t beginning until I’m in Italy. Alas.

I was shocked that the students turned around on Shakespeare! And pleased! I hope this trip makes them love his works even more.
