Ugh, I’m sorry. The precarity of so much academic labor now is truly awful. And I can’t imagine getting deeply invested in teaching if I knew that I wasn’t going to be able to stick around.
Yeah, I felt a little happy today about not going back to teaching in the spring. I just can’t get into it right now. It’s too demoralizing. But I think I’m going to have to figure out something else. Financially, we need me to make some money. 🙁
