I tend to read it all in batches and so I feel weird commenting on really old posts but these last two posts seem like you are gradually finding an okay head space to be in and I am so glad for that. And I continue to have my fingers crossed that your appeal will move forward successfully. I’m glad that you have a new administration for this process.

I haven’t met the new guy yet. I’m looking forward to it, though. At least I don’t have to justify my interest in literature from 400 years ago to someone whose published research is on colonial American literature.
